Another D That Will Fulfill February: The Deep Blue Sea

First of all: I don't know if I already mentioned to you my biggest celebrity crush so far in my life, Tom Hiddleston. I won't really talk now about how amazing, awesome, hot, cute, intelligent and talented he is. Not because that's really all I have to say (trust me, there's more, lots more), it's just that I think you came here for a critical review. Although I'm still training myself in this sort of thing I've came up with and that my so called "reviews" are not really a review (okay, I do discuss about the plot and its problems and how is it all connected to the world we live in and deep stuff like that) but more like a fangirl's praise to her idol or something childish like that. I cannot deny the fact of being a fangirl and a part of multiple fandoms (it just happened, I swear! It's like that sort of thing that grows into you, something that comes to you when you reach certain age, like something you cannot avoid - unless you don'...

Maybe All We Need Is Time

We all crave for something we cannot have. At least from time to time. I think we can all agree on one thing we all want, but simply can't have - time. Sometimes we are late for the bus, ran out of time on a exam, wish time would pass slower when surrounded with friends, having a good time. Time always flies by so fast when we're having a good time and is going by sooo slow when we're bored, having nothing to do or wishing we were somewhere else. Otherwise, I think time is about making it. Maybe that doesn't really sound at all logical, but let me explain it. There's a wonderful quote by Eric Roth: "Our lives are defined by opportunities. Even the ones we miss." So that's what I'm really talking about here. Opportunities and what makes it worth our while. We ran out of time for certain opportunities. For instance, we wanted to tell somebody we loved them in the park or something like that and you're interrupted by some guy or a thing, not reall...

February's E: Easy A

I watched this movie over four times and I still laugh my ass off at some parts and cry so hard at the sad scenes. It's a movie that can teaches us a lot. From being a insecure, unnoticed girl to a smoking hot chick not having a care in the world - and in a good sense! Sometimes you just have to let people talk about you: it's good for your ego. Also for theirs though, they really think they'll get to you. This movie is a great example that a girl still can pick herself up from being told such ugly things at her. All it takes is growing a pair and to get there it truly is a hard and long way, but worth all the effort at the end. And she proved it all right in front of our nose. There's also this boy playing quite a big role in her life: Woodchuck Todd, portrayed by gorgeous Penn Badgley (I've loved him since the start of GG). He knows her throughout all her little experiment and he's the one that truly respects her and knows that behind that facade, a mask, ther...

The Day of The Month: Valentine's Day

Here it is, the day we've all been waiting for; the ones that have a cute crush on somebody, who might finally reveal their love for someone. The ones that are already in a relationship and that kind of day makes them notice how much they love their partners. But this day has a special meaning to another type of people. Yeah, I think you've guessed correctly. The single ones. I'm not about to whine about my (apparent) infinite single life, without any single spark of romance whatsoever, but I'm going to write some like basic facts about Valentine's Day that I approve and some that really piss me off. Well, I won't deny that I hate this day either, it's just that I won't be (or I do not wish to be) another cliche of a ugly girl failure. Because you get enough of that shit in the movies, books and songs, so I think the last thing you wish is that you get more of that bullshit here. I can pass you the good news that you won't get that here. Even though ...

The Best Things In Life Are Free: True Or False?

We are constantly surrounded by statements like: "The best things come free." and all that positive thinking along. But is it really true? I mean, I get it that when people say that they mostly mean things like love, joy and friends. These things do, however, come free, but by free it's mostly considered as not including money. For all these things that I counted, true dedication and believing yourself are present and these kind of things are what truly makes a person rich. Not money, not some kick-ass career (that may have influenced on your inner self, though) or super yachts. It's something that comes from within and that really takes effort and time to possess. And to get there, it actually takes a whole different kind of price for what you really want. It demands hard work that is often not quite what rich people own. There is a beautiful quote by Patrick Meagher: "Some people are so poor all they have is money." And that is, sadly, often correct. Peopl...

The Problem That Lies Within: What School Can't Teach Us

I started to notice more and more mistakes teachers make inside the school system. I acknowledge that I am a very critical person, yet I also know that's the quality of mine that some day might actually get me somewhere. I don't judge anyone, far from that. It's just as a high-school student I think I still own the right of freedom of speech and saying my opinion, or rather - typing it. No matter in what way I express it, I think anything will do as long as I stand up for what I think it's right. And I've noticed something's clearly wrong. Even a blind man would see it. I'm hundred percent positive this kind of things happen all over the world; perhaps in some parts it's even worse than here (I'm not saying it's really that bad here). The education and the whole privilege of having the chance to be schooled is beyond amazing and past something most of the kids on the planet cannot afford. I am very much aware of that. But while I'm aware of ...
