Transience

Lots of people are afraid of that word. Why the hell would somebody be so scared of a simple word? It's the meaning behind it. People interpret this term each on their own specific way, though I'd like describe the most common ones. I'm not really sure in which one of them I belong in, I think maybe even all of them. The thing about it is that it's something we're not sure about, that's why we're so afraid of it. It is normal to fear the unknown, maybe to even reject the idea of accepting it in your life. We think that accepting something new in our life will cause a big change and we are afraid of changing our life routines. Because otherwise we are lost. We can't go with the flow. And I think that's the main problem here. Even old Shakespeare wrote about transience in his Halmet and that's the proof how this has been around for a long time. Yet, as we all know, dear Will wasn't a plain and ordinary man. He wrote about the problems of the ...

Obsession Over Wrong People

And often not as much with the actors and Hollywood stars itself as we do with people that are famous because of a trite, banal reason. Or sometimes they are famous for a reason unknown to humanity and then we make even more fuss about it! Why not, right? Why not make stupid and untalented people famous just so they can enjoy their pathetic life in grand amounts of cash and jewels and yachts and I could go on forever. This is the pattern of humanity: following stupid people like sheep, not ever even wondering why we're doing it. So why, in fact, are we? You see, as dear Sherlock  once said about coincidences, the universe is rarely so lazy. So there must and is a reason to all this madness that's overcoming this poor Earth we live on, isn't it? Well, as you all well know (this applies to the people who actually read this blog from time to time - and I am forever grateful for that act of kindness - and know what my writing is usually about), this time as well I shall expose ...

Where's The Line?

People tend to mix this term so often and sometimes even under reasonable circumstances, but I have said sometimes. There are, of course, all sorts of exceptions and minority of people who do certain things under certain conditions but still some things are unforgivable and unacceptable. You're probably wondering the whole time what the heck am I really talking about here. Well, for a start I can say reality. Reality is a messed up, confusing and deceiving thing that can lead to all sorts of actions people might regret later. It can play tricks on us many times when we don't even realize; that's why it is so tricky. It contains a hidden meaning behind that mask people pretend to live with and when they finally realize (when it is of course much much too late) what's it all about and that life isn't actually really about having it always so nice and sweet as all the movies are showing, they crash. They collapse and mostly never get back on their feet which can be a t...

Life Across The Sea

It may have several meanings to some people or just one in particular to other, including me. Well, living in Europe and all it's understandable that the only thing I imagine when hearing that phrase is the good old America. What's it like there, anyway? I wouldn't really know for I've never been there myself, but with the information I have and the sources providing me that information, it's both good and bad. Now how can that be? Isn't that the state of dreams coming true? Where all the potential artists go for inspiration and the big break-through? Let's just say for now that there are always two sides to one story. And that sticks to everything. It's all about the nice picture they're showing, not the reality in the background. Although it's not my place to judge, one can always predict and assume. Why not? I still own that right, as far as I remember. For many people, America might seem the wonderland, where all their hopes and dreams come...

Letting It Go

We experience many things we think are one-time opportunities, and in most cases, they are. Not trying to sound pathetic or nostalgic in any way, it's just that I feel the need to let some things out. Things I feel they need to be spoken about, even though it might hurt as hell just thinking about them. But I think it's better to let it out, let it hurt and destroy you in any way possible and then just let it be. Let it heal, because time heals everything. I didn't believe in that sort of thing until now. Until I've finally gotten over him. It might as well sound stupidly cliche and cheesy, but things like that I believe are worth talking about. After all, they are things that complete our life. Hell, these are the things that make our life the way it is. Define us. Even if we don't feel like admitting, we are changed by the things that affect us in some way. Maybe some less, maybe some more. But genuinely, they make us the person we are today. And I've come...
