I admit, I haven't read the book, yet I loved the movie. One day I wish to read the book as well, because it's simply a classic. But for now, let's discuss the movie first. I'm known for my eternal love of the era of cigarette holders, curly hair, sparkly dresses and red lips. The 1920's, of course! How could one not love this particular period? It was full of glamour, parties, gentlemen and awesome cars. What I seem to love so much about this era is also their way of behavior. The gestures, greetings, traditions and compliments. I'd love to experience just one day in the shape of a wealthy girl and taste the life back then. Fantasies like that really make you want to turn back time, you know? But the most magical thing to me that was also included in this movie is their attitude, their perception and gestures, as I mentioned before.
