New people. New friends, new school mates that will be my fellow sufferers for next four years, which I know will pass by really fast since everybody keeps saying that. But these last few days in high school has been really stressful and tiring.
Hey everybody! It has been my first four days in high school and I already feel exhausted! Though I made some really cool friends and the teachers are awesome even though the syllabus is harder than in elementary school (that's expected, of course). We've had lots of informative and get-to-know games instead of some classes, so it's been fun! We have really gotten to know each other more and better and I even know with who I'm going to a party tomorrow! It's gonna be great, since it's free, absolutely letting-loose and biggest back-to-school party ever, so it's a must-attend one.
Anyway, it's really hard to compete with all these seniors and sophomores with natural, but expensive style. I'm keeping the old clothes, because their still good to wear and cute and comfy. But in October I'm going in super big shopping for winter and spring, so I'm also super excited!
But I know there is going to be a big change. All these people I've met just a few days ago will be my new school mates for next four years! I know it's been awesome to meet all these new people, especially girls are really friendly and not bitchy at all, so I made lots of new friends. We can trust each other and you can somehow realize from the very first moment who you can trust and who is just a party buddy. But no prejudices, we said, right? So I've decided to give everyone a chance, cause everyone deserves one. We really gotten along especially in classes and we bonded really quickly. Even though it has been a difficult week, it has been a most special one in my life so far.
So there is also this two-days school field trip this weekend, created for all freshmen to get to know each other even more; all the communication games, representing yourself through some posters and so on, camping fire which really brings everyone together and also improvisation games that teach you to not be afraid of being yourself among strangers, e.g. new school mates. It's hard for everyone; not only me who has anxiety problems. I know we're all nervous and anxious to get it through and get it over with. But everyone had to go through it, that's the whole point. Everyone had to start from zero and then become whoever they became. "The best way to predict future is to create it." Abraham Lincoln said. And it is true. We shouldn't be so afraid of what people will say. Yeah, I know, easier to say than to do so. But sooner or later they will get used to us and the people who will dislike us (it will happen, trust me) will just leave and are not worthy of your time so it's just better to forget them. And the people who will like you (that will also happen) will be the best friends you can imagine. Maybe it'll be few of them, but they'll be true and love you for you, stand by you and trust you. So it's better, for your own good, to stop pretending to be someone you're not and start being the true you. The most you you can be. Kristen Stewart said: "Hate me for who I am, I don't care. At least I'm not pretending to be someone I'm not." And we should all take her advice. It's a famous quote for a reason.
Anyway, I gotta get going. I trust in my abilities to make friends, cause everyone can make friends and I sure as hell ain't gonna pretend to like someone if I don't. I will not repeat my mistakes. I will try to be wiser and will try to take in as most knowledge I get in school as I can, because I know I can use it somewhere. It is your only treasure. And if you have a choice, I recommend you take the opportunity, cause you never know where life can take you. It's mostly never how you've imagined. But you have to be prepared for anything. And that's the point of life. It gets you where and when you would've never imagined. It's a secret only your own and don't let anyone take it from you.
