Our Memories of the Ocean Will Linger On, Long After Our Footprints In the Sand Are Gone

I miss summer so much, the fearless feeling. Relaxing, stress-free. A way to get away from every person who broke you down. Summer, I miss you.

Summer should really get a speeding ticket! I can still remember when the trees outside of our house were blooming and getting big and green, now it's like that day was yesterday. I swear July and August lasted only three minutes. I miss swimming in the ocean. I miss stalking hot boys on the beach. I miss melting ice cream. I miss being tanned. I miss handstands in the sand. I miss shorts and bikini. I miss running across the beach, swimming at night and most of all, I miss adventures. The feeling they give you. Feeling of freedom. You feel like you can be yourself like; fuck it, it's summer. No one cares if your hair is frizzy, as long as you're happy that you're dizzy.
And it is proven that summertime has positive and good influence on your body and mind. You think anything is possible in summer, don't you? Well, that is because of the looking forward to the next sunny day, you are carefree and you have brains OFF, so that you can completely and only concentrate on good things that await you. The hot summer nights, skinny dipping in the dark, falling in love with strangers and so many adventures. You just go explore the world around you. It feels like a second chance. Though we mustn't take life that way. We must think in the way that every day is a second chance, not only summer where you just get more likely to meet new people. You must build on your self-esteem throughout all year, so you can improve each time. Anyway, it's not like a race or a match or anything. It's just an advice that I like to give. Advice always comes handy and it is good that you just put it in your mind; even if somewhere deep, just as long as you know where it is to find it if things don't get the way you want them to.

I believe every summer has a story. I believe every summer you think you're invincible and that you can go through anything and that is how you're supposed to feel! Don't be afraid of being bold, wild and
spontaneous. Maybe you know the different meaning of spontaneous, but it doesn't mean it's wrong. Sometimes different is the best way to be. It surely is the best way to be, that to be fake and just another fish in the sea. I mean; I really wouldn't like to be treated like this. Rather be crazy and myself, than be misunderstood and pretend to be someone I'm not. Anyway, being yourself doesn't always mean you have to be bold and extravagant and things like that. Because that might not be you. The point is, to improve the things you excel at. Your best qualities (which I'm sure there are quite a few) and just keep working on it. You'll be like a magnet for boys if you just believe in what you believe in. Think of it like a product; your product won't sell if you don't believe in your work and effort. It is not. So you have to trust in your abilities, push your boundaries and take chances. Not only in summer, but every time and with a little practice your self-esteem will really change.
Although there are also bad parts of this time of the year; who would've thought, right? The first negative thing that popped to my mind is that you can really overthink (I know this from my own experiences). There is no school, maybe you work part-time, but anyway; you have lots of time to think about everything. You think about yourself, your flaws and mistakes and what you could have done better. Or maybe you're not a person like that, which you can be grateful for. Anyway, overthinking can and will destroy you. It is more dangerous that you think. You find yourself making problems in your own head that don't even exist and that's how you become a dreadful person.

To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of

being wrong.

This is one of my favorite quotes said by Joseph Chilton Pearce. And it is more right than you can even imagine. Well, I must say I really feel guilty while writing this since I am not the way I am telling you to be. It's just I like helping people to become who they wanna be. Not the way I want to be though, but helping them to change their thoughts to get to certain point, you know? It's nice to help as long as you don't turn other people's problems into your own. That is where you can loose yourself and eventually get more damaged than the person who actually has these problems. But what do we live for then if not for helping each other? But then again you know what they say; no good deed goes unpunished

The Best Things In Life Are Free: True Or False?

We are constantly surrounded by statements like: "The best things come free." and all that positive thinking along. But is it really true? I mean, I get it that when people say that they mostly mean things like love, joy and friends. These things do, however, come free, but by free it's mostly considered as not including money. For all these things that I counted, true dedication and believing yourself are present and these kind of things are what truly makes a person rich. Not money, not some kick-ass career (that may have influenced on your inner self, though) or super yachts. It's something that comes from within and that really takes effort and time to possess. And to get there, it actually takes a whole different kind of price for what you really want. It demands hard work that is often not quite what rich people own. There is a beautiful quote by Patrick Meagher: "Some people are so poor all they have is money." And that is, sadly, often correct. Peopl...

American Beauty

There are only few things in this world that are able to truly leave me speechless, astounded, and numb. I tend to believe I have seen a lot of things that have touched me right to the depths of my soul, making me feel like there is so much more life behind ordinary things. And those occassions are the reason we stay alive. May it be a soft breeze caressing your skin on a surprisingly warm March day that reminds you of the hidden wonders of nature, a sentimental gesture shared between a mother and a child that demonstrates the meaning of humanity and unconditional love or simply a flash of a moment in an ordinary day that keeps you sane and secured, knowing there is some magic hidden in these ordinary, seemingly unnoteworthy moments that we need to treasure and remember forever, and that even though we are aware of this magic, we could never reach it. And that is the beauty of it. However, when I saw this movie it truly shook me, in a good way. I also recently watched Good Will Hunti...

I heard an airplane passing overhead. I wished I was on it

More and more I feel like I don't belong here, in this hell called school. It's not like I'm unwanted in society, it's more like how I'm being somehow ignored, but not directly. I can still laugh with my girl friends and have a good time at school breakes, but when we like have a free hour or we just don't do anything in class, I can feel how I don't fit in. I then realise how different I am, or how every individual is different. But some girls, most of them actually, can still find something in common, something that makes them more wanted, that makes them popular and attractive. They're all the same, although I still believe everyone's special in some way. But it's like they all feel the same about that "love" they think they know what it is, they have opinions on things, same taste in music, same behaviour. And I'm so sick of it. So sick of everybody pretending, not showing their real feelings then pitying themselves later. And ...
