As you probably heard, Justin Bieber came to Wien last night and had a concert. I know many people which went to the concert and their dreams came true. I must say I was really surprised by the way everything went. I mean I wasn't there, but I could even feel the adrenaline and the rush, hear the screaming fans... I made a decision that I must go next year.
Anyway, I think people and the media are being way to harsh on him. I mean, he IS a teenager and he WILL smoke pot and I think you won't be able to take that away from him, that kind of thinking. He's gonna do what he wants to do, except doing anything that will offend his beliebers and making them sad. I truly believe he has a great heart and that he's sweet and sensitive like anybody can be. Sometimes you just gotta look through all of the person's mistakes and realise that he's just a human too. We all make mistakes but when you're a world-known celebrity it's way to "worse" to do that than to do it as a normal teen. I wasn't brainwashed to think like that, you just have to be normal and a real person at heart and mind to see that. Of course he's gonna do what it is expected from him, what choice does he have anyway? I mean, I know he's doing it with love and that were his dreams and goals, but sometimes anybody has to escape the real world for some time, clear their head and later go on, move on.
More I'm watching or his twitter profile or his Instagram account, the more I realise he's just a normal boy too. His photos on Instagram are so intimate, close and cute that I really wanna meet him. He seems like a really nice guy. And maybe I can count myself as a belieber, but actually I like him more as a person than his music. I don't listen to his songs much, but they're okay. I'm more like indie and stuff. But sometimes it's good to hear some of his songs, they're energetic and wild. Like most of the teens in this world are.
And some music critics say that he's like a mayfly, but I don't think so. His fans (beliebers) are so dedicated to him that I can hardly say that he'll ever get out of "music fashion". And yes, maybe most of his fans might be crazy, stupid youngsters, but that means something too. We, kids, are capable of loyalty, love and dedication too. Don't underestimate us, we'll rule the world one day, we're the generation of future. And some kids can be more powerful and capable of things adults aren't. It's funny how adults sometimes say children can't understand business or love or things like war. Well, maybe we can't on their way, but we can on our way, which counts too. And it's the same with music. Music types are differents and so is the taste in music. Some people call taste in music techno music or classic or pop. Some, like me, call it bands like Pink Floyd or The Beatles or just pop-rock music. Music tastes are different and you can't call someone an idiot with lack of taste in music beacuse they listen to Justin Bieber. It's just a different kind of music. And it's in man's nature to be afraid and reject the unknown things, different things. It's like that in any situation, not necessarily music. It's like that in school, business, jobs... That's just how we're made.
But I respect him. Yes, I respect Justin Bieber. "Oh my god, you're so lame," "You're just one of billions of fans, he doesn't even know you exist,". I don't really care if he knows me or not, what I care about is what he has done to this society and his improvements in music industry or his attitude and behaviour. I can only judge him by that. What HE SAYS and what he CONFIRMS. Not all this yellow press bullshit only fools accept. It's hard to stick on your own in this kind of society. Be who you wanna be and be proud of that. I can peacefuly say that I do respect him as a human being. No matter how many people might hate him (I really do believe that's just what makes him stronger and motivated), kid did it. He did what he wanted and you can only be jelous of that. Him, achieveing his goals and making his dream a reality. I hope I'll know that feeling one day.
And the last thing; I am really happy and feel joy and satisfaction in my heart when I see girls post about their dreams coming true and describing the event. Many people think it's annoying, seeking for attention and lame, but I must disagree. I think it's awesome, amazing and absolutely spectacular to attend a concert like Justin Bieber's, cause his concert are like known for the light shows, mind-blowing performances and outstanding energy through all the show. I really get the chills even watching the recorded performances and watching him dance like that. After all; he is one hell of a sexy boy. I do find him attractive, yes. But I think I wouldn't scream and cry and throw myself into his arms if he took a picture with me or smile at me. No, actually I take that back; a smile would be nice. I would be happy if I'd be the center of his attention for at least few seconds. Who wouldn't be? He is after all a really powerful person, person who has like the most influence on the press or young people. But then again; I almost everytime look at him as a normal teen. Is that wrong? I mean, of course I can't imagine what would it be like to meet him in person, no one has influence on the things that would follow. I could like really cry and smile like crazy, even though now I think that wouldn't happen with me.
I think we all misunderstand beliebers. We all think that the things they do for him (okay, the cutting thing on twitter was really way over the top) and the things they say, are like carried away. But we don't understand them, that's all. We don't have to know everything about everything or everyone. I think older people (or younger too) that don't believe in those stuff anymore just don't get the fandom, love and loyalty that bonds them. What keeps them going and keeps them sticking together, not giving up. And when Bieber says he's lost without them and when he says he'd be nothing without them, I believe him. Cause in that moment I try to put myself into his shoes (and not only his, but many other celebrity's too, even though that's impossible, I do my best) and think how it would be like to lose all the support. I mean, I know he loves his fans also for the profit he gets and the fame, even though he says he doesn't care about it; we all like the attention (but not always, of course). But I think he doesn't ONLY like them for money. He truly cares about them and the prove of his love for them are the gestures he does at every concert that many fans don't realise, since they only care about themselves (mostly, not always). I can talk about those things since I'm a neutral observer, since I'm not a true beliber. I think many people don't get the love he has for his fans. Look where they got him; not only that they brought his songs on charts to number one, but I'm talking about his mental health, how he is handling everything. All the pressure; such as from his fans and family and business... It's hard to always keep up with everything and there's also his personal life which, in my opinion, is no one's business. All the Jelena thing... Yeah, it's cute, but when it comes to death threats, it's a different story and beliebers do stuff like that (not all, of course). There is the line you just don't cross, no matter how close you might feel to him, to anybody.
For the end; I just wanna say he earned my respect and trust. And yes, love. Cause he is one of a kind. Everbody is. And every human's progress, work and effort should be applaud like his. But he is special. I must say in this year, he really surprised me, in many ways: his maturity (I mean his attitude to business things, not his personal behaviour), love for his family, caring about his second family; fans, effort and perseverance. And I want him to stay this way; not giving up and keep doing what he loves and still be a great role model to many girls and boys around the world.
