High school, here I come!

You can even feel it in the air that school time is approaching. But it's different for everyone; some feel excitement, rush and yearning for school-adventures like me, some just still feel lost, hopeless and tired of everything already. I think those who just want to get out, to the world, need respect, too. 'Cause just because they don't wanna go to school and sit in class, listen to boring stuff (we might never even use, but I don't quite think so), doesn't mean they don't have dreams. And I think every person who has dreams and ambitions and will to reach those dreams and goals is worthy of some respect, time and compassion. It's unfair to not give other people chances, you see. I should know.  Now, I must tell you about my new stuff for school! OMG, shopping for new school year (in my case now even high school!) is sooo exciting and fun! Choosing notebooks for each class and decorating them the way you want is how you keep interested and creative, to...

Russia's president, Vladimir V. Putin, has declared war on homosexuals. So far, the world has mostly been silent.

" On July 3, Mr. Putin signed a law banning the adoption of Russian-born children not only to gay couples but also to any couple or single parent living in any country where marriage equality exists in any form. A few days earlier, just six months before Russia hosts the 2014 Winter Games, Mr.  Putin signed a law- allowing police officers to arrest tourists and foreign nationals they suspect of being homosexual, lesbian or “pro-gay” and detain them for up to 14 days. Contrary to  what the International Olympic Committee says , the law could mean that any Olympic athlete, trainer, reporter, family member or fan who is gay — or suspected of being gay, or just accused of being gay — can go to jail.  Earlier in June, Mr. Putin signed yet another anti-gay bill, classifying “homosexual propaganda” as pornography. The law is broad and vague, so that any teacher who tells students that homosexuality is not evil, any parents who tell their child that homosexuality is norma...

What's the point of all this?

Thinking about a subject to write about is the hardest thing ever. You think about so many things through the day, when you just don't have the access to your computer directly, yet have an empty head when you decide to write something. Something that you might have had experienced in the last days, something that you've realized or discovered, something you wanna share with people or just something pathetic that you want to whine about when you have no place else to go. Even when internet is the worst place you can go. You should runaway to books and music and normal stuff like that. But no. Not for me, at least. The only thing that kinda calms me down or where I can, ironically, feel safe, is the internet. This site, actually. I know this is the worst place I could ever run to, but the funny thing is I actually believe someone here would maybe understand be better than someone in real life. Because somehow you don't know anyone here and it is kinda allowed to you to be s...

The good and the bad sides of not having it all

More and more people today think only about money and what they're gonna buy with it. Of course it's nice to have money, everyone wants to have it and spend it on different ways. But is it really all we have in life? All we need and is it really the meaning of life? That's when you start thinking that maybe even though you have for fifty Calvin Klein watches or twenty Michael Kors bags, it doesn't help you if you haven't figured out the real meaning of life. And many people don't figure that out until their late winter of life. So that's why I think teaching kids of morality, rationality and common sense is something that shouldn't be missing in child's education in their early years. I have many friends who have lots of money and think that money gives them a right to take everything for granted and that everything's gonna always work out for them.   Well, the answer's no. Luckily, nature has her parts that are the same for every ordinary...

Trust issues

Sometimes I wish my room would be soundproof. To just escape where no one could hear me scream or cry. To be alone just with yourself and your thoughts. That's kind of dangerous, but in sensitive situations I just have to be alone, even though most people need just the opposite. But I am not like most people. That's the problem. I have no one to talk to about my problems and if I do talk to my mum, she gets sick of it sooner or later. I don't have a best friend or just any friend to tell my problems. My secrets, my demons in my head, insecurities, second thoughts, crushes ... I have no one, to be honest. And sometimes it feels good to keep my issues down and not letting anyone knowing about my business. Not letting anyone in. But sometimes I wish I had someone to let it all out to. My other half. I know not everyone has best friends. I know many people are like me, alone. And I know it is partly my fault that I'm not more open and outgoing. I don't let in people, s...

Taking chances

It's been two months and twenty-seven days since I found out he'll never come back. I am starting to slowly forget how he smelled. His laughter. His swimming technique. His dreamy eyes. His deep voice. Strong body. Everything seems so far away. It's all just a blur to me now. Like a sweet dream. Like when you have the best dream and can still remember it a little when you wake up. He is like the main part of that dream I keep preserving in my mind. I know it will all go away one day, I probably won't even know and realize when. But I think this part is the scariest one. Because I can still remember the way my heart started to beat when I saw him walking across the bleachers. The feeling in my stomach. The adrenaline pumping through my veins. And I miss that feeling. I used to hate it when he was still here and all I'd do all day was sitting in the middle of a class, daydreaming how I am gonna dress for today's practice to impress him. Or what I'm gonna say ...

I heard an airplane passing overhead. I wished I was on it

More and more I feel like I don't belong here, in this hell called school. It's not like I'm unwanted in society, it's more like how I'm being somehow ignored, but not directly. I can still laugh with my girl friends and have a good time at school breakes, but when we like have a free hour or we just don't do anything in class, I can feel how I don't fit in. I then realise how different I am, or how every individual is different. But some girls, most of them actually, can still find something in common, something that makes them more wanted, that makes them popular and attractive. They're all the same, although I still believe everyone's special in some way. But it's like they all feel the same about that "love" they think they know what it is, they have opinions on things, same taste in music, same behaviour. And I'm so sick of it. So sick of everybody pretending, not showing their real feelings then pitying themselves later. And ...
